Only 2 Finished Items Hit the 3500g Ceiling: Infinity Edge and Rabadon's, While 5 Support Items at 400g Upgrade for Free
2026-09-30

Tallied the price of every finished item buyable on Summoner's Rift. Only two hit the 3500g ceiling, Infinity Edge and Rabadon's Deathcap. The cheapest five, all at 400g, turn out to cost nothing extra to complete.
There are 138 finished items you can buy on Summoner's Rift. Ran the numbers on every one, and only two sit at the very top, Infinity Edge and Rabadon's Deathcap at 3500g. At the bottom, five items tied at 400g turn out to cost nothing extra to finish at all.
What counts as a "finished" item
A finished item is one that can't be combined into anything further. Summoner's Rift sells 254 purchasable items total (including trinkets and consumables), and once you strip those two categories out, 138 are finished items, the things that actually sit in your inventory by the end of a build.
Only Infinity Edge and Rabadon's reach the 3500g ceiling
| Highest-priced finished items | Value |
|---|---|
Infinity Edge | 3500g |
Rabadon's Deathcap | 3500g |
Bloodthirster | 3400g |
Trinity Force | 3333g |
Overlord's Bloodmail | 3300g |
Infinity Edge and Rabadon's Deathcap tie for the outright top spot at 3500g. Bloodthirster (3400g) and Trinity Force (3333g) trail close behind, and seven items cluster in the 3300g band including Overlord's Bloodmail. But across all 138 finished items, nothing crosses 3500g. Those two are the hard ceiling.
Average 2648g, median 2800g, 9 in 10 sit between 2000g and 3499g
Average total cost across all 138 finished items is 2648g, median 2800g. By price band: 13 items under 2000g, 75 in the 2000-2999g range, 48 in the 3000-3499g range, and only the two above at 3500g+. About 90% of everything lands somewhere between 2000g and 3499g.
The cheapest five, at 400g, actually cost nothing to finish
| Lowest-priced finished items | Value |
|---|---|
Celestial Opposition | 400g |
Dream Maker | 400g |
Zaz'Zak's Realmspike | 400g |
Solstice Sleigh | 400g |
Bloodsong | 400g |
All five are the final forms of the support item quest lines, tied at 400g. Dig into the data and the actual build cost for that last step is 0g, they evolve for free out of the previous stage (World Atlas, also listed at 400g with a 0g build cost). Trace it back further and it all starts with a single 400g starter item (Relic Shield, Spellthief's Edge, and the like). The real money spent on these five is just that initial 400g, everything after is a free upgrade once the support quest completes. Reading the price list at face value and calling these the "cheapest finished items" misses the mechanic entirely.
AbilityHaste is the single most common tag, on 69 of 138 items
By ddragon's tag count, AbilityHaste appears on 69 finished items, more than any other tag. Health comes next at 55, then Damage at 47, and SpellDamage at 45. Half of all finished items in the game now bake in cooldown reduction, something that used to be a dedicated build path is now close to a default stat.
Takeaway
Lining up item prices sounds like a dry exercise, but digging into the 400g support items turned up something better than "cheap", a build cost of zero. Reading a price list at face value and declaring a winner for cheapest or most expensive turns out to be exactly how you'd miss that.
